JOB TITLE: Combo Sewer Furniture Manufacturing

DEPARTMENT: Sewing

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Plant 5 - Conover

SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm, Friday 6 am - 11:00 am

Climate controlled. Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis

We're expanding and currently hiring for multiple full-time positions offering consistent 40-45 hours per week, no Saturdays, and a strong benefits package, including free access to our healthcare clinic starting on day one for employees, spouses, and children, plus two company-wide shutdown weeks.

SUMMARY

Sew complete cover which includes flatwork, cushions, ottomans, and pillows.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Operating an industrial sewing machine to sew parts, for both cushion and flatwork to meet production schedule.
• Working with complex fabric needs to be very detailed and quality minded.
• Able to comprehend and read tickets/specs, etc., to ensure accuracy.
• Responsible for being efficient and meeting quality standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• COMBO Sew experience 5 years minimum.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge a plus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work full time.
• Effective communication skills
• Good organizational skills and detailed oriented
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Must be able to lift/handle/carry 25 lbs. +
• Long periods of sitting.
• Able to work independently.
