We are looking for a dedicated Contract Mail Carrier to help us keep Lempster, New Hampshire, connected. This is a 55-mile round trip, 7 hours a day, Monday through Saturday position. This isn't just about moving mail and boxes from one spot to another; it's about being a familiar face in the community and a reliable link for the people who depend on us every day. Responsibilities
Sort and organize mail and parcels for efficient daily delivery.
Operate your vehicle safely across assigned routes to ensure timely arrivals.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain signatures when required.
Provide friendly, professional service to the residents and businesses on your route.
Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delivery route obstacles to dispatch promptly.
Follow all traffic safety laws and company protocols to ensure every parcel reaches its destination securely.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable personal vehicle suitable for navigating rural routes.
Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to 50 pounds.
Strong organizational skills for managing daily manifests.
Knowledge of Lempster, NH and surrounding area geography.
Prior experience in delivery services or route-based work.
Vehicle with 120 Cubic in cargo space. Preferably a Van, SUV or pickup truck with a bedcover/topper.
