Customers in more than 135 countries depend on Aviat Networks to build, expand, and upgrade their voice, data, and video solutionsAbout the Role: The Corporate Development Analyst will play a critical role in executing the financial and strategic analysis of potential merger & acquisition transactions. This role will assist by building financial models, developing business cases, leading external research, and contributing to the due diligence and integration efforts. The Corporate Development Analyst will be a key corporate finance team member in support of Aviat’s overall corporate goals and will work closely with other areas of Aviat Networks including finance, legal, operations, sales and product teams. Responsibilities:Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential acquisition targetsDevelop financial models and perform valuation analysis to support M&A activitiesAssist in the preparation of investment presentations and other materials for senior management and board meetingsSupport due diligence processes by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze relevant informationTrack and analyze industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisionsAssist in the development and execution of integration plans for acquired companies, ensuring alignment with strategic goalsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth integration processesDevelop and maintain integration checklists, timelines, and status reportsMonitor and report on integration progress, identifying and addressing any issues or roadblocksOther corporate finance duties as assigned.Qualifications & Competencies:Bachelor’s Degree3 years of relevant experience preferredAt least 1 year of experience in financial analysisAt least 1 year of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, hedge funds, transaction valuation, product management, consulting, or a combinationProficiency in accounting and strong financial modeling skillsStrong research skills and demonstrated ability to evaluate and interpret financial data and other technical informationPossess a strong analytical ability, a sense of urgency, and intellectual curiosityDemonstrated success with project managementAbility to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior leadershipExcellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsWe encourage you to read our Candidate Privacy Notice.You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
