Licensed Practical Nurse, Pre-Surgery Screening – Olympia Orthopaedic AssociatesLocation: Remote after training. Training will take place in-person at either our Centralia or Olympia, WA surgery centers. MUST STILL BE A RESIDENT OF WA STATE.Job Type: Full-timePay: $28.92 - $42.96 (Pay is determined based on years of experience)Summary of benefits: OOA covers part or all of the cost for Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Long-term Disability Insurance. Please note nicotine levels are included in testing.Licensed Practical Nurse SummaryAs a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Pre-Surgical Screening department, you will be responsible for triaging patients to ensure prompt identification of those with high-risk conditions. You will also play a vital role in clearing patients for surgery by ensuring they meet the requirements established by anesthesia. This will involve performing phone evaluations, conferring with physicians, and scheduling in-person anesthesia evaluations when needed.This is a work from home role; however, employees are required to be a resident of Washington State and must complete a 4–6-week training period in Olympia, WA.Licensed Practical Nurse RequirementsGraduate of an accredited state Board of Nursing program.Current Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington.At least one year of clinical nursing experience.Current Basic Life Support Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.Questions about this job ad?
