Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Driver in DAGGETT, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Fri 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Sat 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Sun 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as required.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information, and report maintenance, access control, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
