Warehouse Technician FellowThis is an unpaid fellowship through the Department of War (DoW) SkillBridge Program. Our work depends on you joining our teamHOW A WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN FELLOW WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:Position ships, receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility.Receives and stores materials in a warehouse or storage facility in an organized manner and convenient location for removal when needed.Marks or tags articles as necessary for identification purposes.Retrieves stored material when requested, transports it to the requester, and returns material to storage as required.Develops and maintains effective warehouse storage practices that promote efficient storage, identification and retrieval.Maintains warehouse and shipping records and may use automated warehouse management system.Must operate hand and power equipment, including forklift, for material handling.Participates in special projects as required.Facilitate in the planning and execution of container loads including weight balancing and bracing.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Requires a High School Diploma or GED.Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse experience.Security Clearance Level: Active Secret ClearanceLocation: On Customer SiteUS Citizenship RequiredThis is a hands-on position.
